Maggie Grace is an American actress born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character on ABC's Lost series and Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Originally from Worthington Ohio, she quit high school in order to relocate in Los Angeles with her mother when her parents separated. She landed her debut role in the film, Rachel's Room's main character in 2001, despite having a difficult time financially. Her performance of Martha Moxley, a 15-year-old victim of murder in the TV film Murder in Greenwich in 2002, earned her a nomination for a Young Artist Award. Grace Rutherford played Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons of 2004 and she shared with her a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) alongside her. Grace was dropped from the series in 2005 to pursue a more significant role in movies, and had a role opposite Tom Welling as Kim Mills in Taken. In 2007, she starred on screen in Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well as, alongside the Liam Neeson character Kim Mills as Kim Mills in Taken. She reprised her role for Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the main character Alice In Malice in Wonderland a modern version of Lewis Carroll's classic novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played Shannon again in Lost's final episode and two other episodes. She appeared in 2013's sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith as a groupie, and also an muse for the stars, who catches the attention of Hank Moody played by David Duchovny. She's the daughter of Stephen Gyllenhaal (director) and Naomi Achs (producer), as well as younger that Jake Gyllenhaal. When she was in her teens, she played small parts in films made by her father.
