Ana Gonzales bio

Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson is an Mexican singer and musician born into a musical family. Growing up she was influenced by Boleros, classical music and the traditional romantic, ranchero and romantic ballads. Ana loves tangos as well the dramatic and opera performances. She began singing and learning songs with her mother then began more intense vocal training when she was 16 working with the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio Becerra. She continued her musical training at the School of Music of Guadalajara University, and then the School of Sacred Music, Toluca. In Guadalajara and Mexico City, she was part of a variety of opera choruses and chamber ensembles. When she moved in the United States, she performed with the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus. Then in 2002 she relocated to southern California. She has performed solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She is involved with many local organizations, both as a teacher as well as a performer due to her passion for music and arts. Ana was a former part of the Community Chorus of Redlands (as being a member of the Inland Master Chorale) and Performance Loft. Ana enjoys singing traditional Latin American songs and hopes that she can inspire others to do the same.
